- Nonstick cooking spray
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup natural cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 sticks (1 cup) plus 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup lightly packed light brown sugar
- 2 extra-large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup mint chips (or chopped Andes Chocolate Mints)
